Acts 2:22–41
Sep 6, 2026 • Paul Laso
What does it mean to stand before a crowd and declare that the most significant event in all of human history has just taken place? That is exactly the moment we find ourselves in when we open Acts 2:22-41. Peter, once too afraid to even acknowledge his connection to Jesus, now boldly proclaims a message that cuts to the heart of everything. At the center of this passage is a truth that changes everything: Jesus of Nazareth, crucified and buried, was raised from the dead by God, and that resurrection was not a surprise or a backup plan. It was the definite, foreordained purpose of God from the very beginning.
