Acts 3:11–26
What happens when the light of Christ exposes who we truly are beneath the surface? In Acts 3:11-26, we find ourselves in the middle of a crowd that just witnessed something impossible—a man lame from birth suddenly walking, leaping, and worshiping in the temple courts. But the real confrontation is not about the miracle. It is about what the miracle points to. We are reminded that all of us, like that crowd in Solomon's Colonnade, have layers we construct to hide what lies beneath. And when the source of life shines through those layers, we are left with only two choices: run from the light or surrender to it. This message challenges us to ask honestly whether we are allowing ourselves to be fully known by Christ, or whether there is some part of our lives we are quietly keeping in the shadows. The gospel does not just expose us and leave us there -- it offers something far greater on the other side of that vulnerability.
