Why We Sing


1. To Praise God for His character and glory
We sing because he is worth; holy, majestic, faithful and glorious.

2. To Give Thanks for What God Has Done
We sing from an overflow of a thankful heart for what He has done.

3. To Celebrate Salvation and Redemption
We sing to rejoice in the grace of God, revealed to us in Jesus Christ.

4. To Respond to God's Victory Over Death, Hell and The Grave
We sing to declare the Lord reigns and all power and authority belong to Him.

5. To Teach, Remind and Pass Down Truth
We sing to teach and be reminded of theological instruction.

We sing to cry out to God in sorrow, confession and repentance.

We sing to join the Church in beholding and worshiping Jesus Christ.

8. To Express Trust and Hope in God
We sing to declare our confidence in His promises.

We sing to declare the Lord reigns over creation, history and His people.

10. To Enjoy God and Delight in Him
We sing not only from a place of obligation but to enjoy and delight in Him.
