Baptism

What is Baptism?

Romans 6:4 says, "We were buried therefore with [Jesus] by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."

At North Georgia Fellowship, we believe Baptism is a sign of the gospel’s application. It is a sign of an individual’s act of obedience and a public declaration of their faith in Jesus. Baptism tells a story about a person's union with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection.

If God is drawing your heart to follow him and to make a commitment to walk with Christ, or if you just have questions about baptism and what it means to be a follower of Jesus, fill out the form below or check out our Next Steps page.
